Alexandre Cornu · Founder of AlphaCor

I bring to SMEs what I learned in more than 12 years inside large groups.

I ran advertising for a retail giant at Carrefour, the e-commerce strategy of a telecoms operator at Orange, advised major brands at a data agency, then launched and ran two e-commerce businesses on the ground. Start-ups, small firms, SMEs, international groups: I've seen the same problems from the inside, at every size. That's what lets me fit the solution to your reality, instead of bolting a large-group contraption onto a five-person company. Since 2023, one conviction: AI is finally giving SMEs the tools of large groups, provided someone installs them properly.

What doesn't fit on a CV

The skills you only discover by working with me

A CV lists job titles. Here's what my clients actually notice, with examples.

A strategist who builds

I don't draw slides, I ship systems

Trained as a marketing director, I code, automate and put things into production myself: automation workflows, AI-driven data enrichment, integrations between tools, technical optimisation of websites. The strategist and the doer are the same person: nothing gets lost along the way.

Example: dozens of automation workflows in production for my clients, including a full chain for creating product listings with AI.

An engineer's rigour

The seriousness of a corporate IT department, at the scale of a small business

No change to a live site without a restorable backup, a test environment and a rollback procedure. Every audit separates measured facts from assumptions. Everything is documented, in plain language, and handed over. It's invisible in a brochure, and it's what keeps a system running two years on.

Example: my written protocols for deployment and “ground truth” audits (measured facts vs assumptions), applied on every e-commerce engagement.

A reader of numbers

I read a profit and loss account, not just a dashboard

Profitability analyses, cash-flow plans, margin trade-offs, monthly reporting for a major retail partner: I've played the role of on-the-ground financial analyst for the businesses I've run. When I audit your data, I'm looking for the hidden pound, not the pretty chart.

Example: a data audit revealed that an overlooked segment accounted for 38% of revenue, with an average basket 3 times higher. The strategy was rebuilt around it.

AI in production

AI isn't my marketing pitch, it's my daily work

I use the most advanced AI tools every day, autonomous agents, language models, automation, to run my own operations and my clients', since 2023. I never sell a tool I don't already run myself in production. In meetings, I don't just talk: I show my own systems.

Example: AlphaCor's content and reporting come out of the systems I sell, and the e-commerce business I run myself runs on them every day. I'll show you, for real, on my own screens, when we meet.

Two worlds

At ease in the boardroom as much as behind the till

I've presented results to major accounts and unloaded pallets in a warehouse in the Var. That double background changes everything: I apply the rigour of large groups without ever imposing their weight, and I speak to a small-business owner as an equal, because I live the same life he does.

Example: monthly reporting for a CAC 40 retailer and click-and-collect for a family grocer's, delivered in the same month, with the same care.

International

Fluent English, multilingual e-commerce

Several years abroad, international coordination at a world leader, shops run in several languages for demanding international customers.

Example: multilingual e-commerce catalogue; international crews served in English day to day.

My rules of the game

Four non-negotiable convictions

  • The result is measured, or it doesn't exist. Every engagement starts with a figure to reach and ends with that same figure, checked together.
  • Prices are published, and the project is sized to fit. You know the price before the first meeting. Then I bring the right level of intensity: simple when that's enough, ambitious when it's warranted, and if the smallest project is enough, I'll tell you, even if it means selling you less. When you run several companies, or an SME with several teams, it isn't a catalogue price: the scope and quote are set after the Scan.
  • Your data is handled under contract, and it stays yours. Confidentiality agreement before the first document, GDPR agreement before the first connection, and 100% France if you want it.
  • I only sell what I use. Every system I propose already runs at my own business or an existing client's first. No lab experiments on your budget.
