“I saw it cheaper elsewhere”
The line comes up at the till or on the phone, and you have no way of checking it, or of knowing since when.
Cross-sector · Retail, e-commerce, distribution
Every night, my system tracks your competitors' prices on the products that matter to you, detects changes, and alerts you when a decision is needed: an aggressive price cut, a stock-out on their side, a margin gap that's widening.
This is for you if…
The line comes up at the till or on the phone, and you have no way of checking it, or of knowing since when.
Watching 20 competitors across 200 products by hand is a half-time job. So nobody does it, or does it once a quarter, which is as good as never.
Too expensive, you lose the sale. Too aggressive, you burn margin for nothing. Without data, every price is a gamble.
What you get
In production
for over a year
This system isn't a concept: it runs every night for a clearance e-commerce business that monitors a major retailer's prices across hundreds of products. It's that real experience, proven on a demanding catalogue, that I package for your business.
How much it costs
I size the monitoring to what you actually need to watch: simple when that's enough, ambitious when it's worth it. For the most common scope, €1,900 excl. VAT to set up then €290 excl. VAT/month, tool and hosting included, live within 2 weeks. If a handful of products are enough to protect you, I'll tell you, even if it means selling you less.
€1,900 excl. VAT setup + €290/month
Your competitors' prices tracked every night, and an alert as soon as a gap crosses your threshold
Setup: scoping, connections, the table and alerts configured. Subscription: daily monitoring, maintaining the trackers (competitor sites change, we adapt), weekly report. No commitment.
Book my scoping callRunning several companies, or several retail brands? This kind of project isn't priced off a catalogue: the Group Scan starts at €2,900 excl. VAT, and it's what sets the scope and hands you the firm price of the project, valid for 60 days. See the Group tier
Every morning, I know competitors' prices before my clients do.

Frequently asked questions
Public prices displayed online are public data; comparison sites and major retailers do this continuously. I only collect publicly accessible information, at a reasonable pace that respects the sites visited.
The standard package covers up to 10 competitors and around 300 products tracked. Beyond that (deep catalogues, multiple marketplaces), I size it on quote, it's my original stomping ground.
Technically yes (repricing), and I can wire it in as phase 2 with strict safeguards (floor margin, limits). But I recommend starting with 2-3 months of observation: you automate a pricing policy once it exists, not before.
Because monitoring isn't something you deliver once: competitor sites change structure, add products, redesign their pages. The €290 excl. VAT per month pays for daily surveillance, maintaining the trackers when a site changes, and the weekly report. Without that upkeep, monitoring stops working within a few months without warning. There's no commitment: you stop whenever you like.
Not off a catalogue. Several retail brands, or several companies in different markets, means several monitoring scopes and a consolidated comparison to build on top. The Group Scan therefore starts at €2,900 excl. VAT, it covers all of your companies, and the firm price of the project is handed to you with the diagnostic, valid for 60 days. The scope and quote for the project are set once that diagnostic is done, and you then decide company by company or as a block. That's the Group tier.
30 minutes on the phone to measure what monitoring could bring you, free: you leave with your costing in euros. Or count your hours in 30 seconds.
